The Write Direction classes are for beginners as well as more experienced writers, and will spark creative fires with thoughtful prompts, engaged sharing and supportive feedback. Sometimes we need to write in a group to start or broaden our daily practice. Sometimes we are stuck and need a glimmer of creative inspiration. Filled with juicy quotes, fertile cues and short writes intended to incite further exploration,

I have been leading writing workshops in retreat settings for for several years, and in 2025 launched The Write Direction classes at the Joslyn Senior Center in partnership with the City of Burbank and Family Service Agency. Month-long workshops at The Circle in Burbank open every few months. Join us, won't you?
